women’s restorative bodywork and massage
Saturdays in Kinglake West in our cosy historic garden cottage.
Rhythmic. Restorative. Nourishing.
I offer therapeutic and relaxation bodywork for women.
At the heart of my work is Ka Huna massage – a flowing, heart-centred massage style that supports rest, renewal, and reconnection. I also offer womb & abdominal massage by request.
These sessions are an invitation to come home to your body.
To soften, to be held and to let go.
Each treatment is offered with reverence, intuition, and care — meeting you in the moment, exactly as you are.
Release tension and reconnect with your vitality through the art of restorative bodywork.

KaHuna massage
Originating in the Pacific, KaHuna massage is a form of sacred, temple-style bodywork based on the teachings and practices of the ancient Hawaiian kahunas. It is a nurturing and invigorating form of Lomi Lomi bodywork.
Traditionally, this form of bodywork was used to support rites of passage such as becoming a mother, becoming an adult, or other major life/death transitions. We work with the body to bring to the surface anything that is needed to create a clear passage to this next chapter.
Using our hands, forearms, and elbows, we create long, flowing and rhythmic strokes that guide the body into a state of receptivity and healing.
If you are feeling mentally, emotionally, or physically drained or exhausted, KaHuna is a beautiful way to bring a renewed sense of wellbeing and energy to the body. It is the perfect treatment for times of change and transition, or when you feel stuck or confused, as it helps to bring ease and clarity.

Womb & Abdominal Therapy (by request)
A deeply nourishing set of tools designed to bring your body back into optimal balance and flow.
Womb and abdominal massage is a gentle yet powerful therapy that works with the soft tissue of the belly, pelvis, and womb space to restore flow, balance, and connection.
The womb is a hollow, suspensory organ that can sometimes shift out of optimal alignment. This work helps bring the womb and surrounding structures back into balance, supporting the key systems of flow in the body — digestive, energetic, circulatory, lymphatic, and nervous.
Sessions often include intuitive abdominal massage, breathwork, and grounding tools to help your body relax and go within. The work supports emotional regulation, hormonal balance, release of tension, breakdown of scar tissue adhesions, and reconnection to your creative and intuitive centre.
Each session is guided by what your body needs in the moment — always respectful, attuned, and held with care.
These sessions can support:
Hormonal balance, digestion, and lymphatic flow
Fertility, menstrual health, and emotional wellbeing
The gentle release of “holding patterns” and tension
Deeper attunement to your body’s inner communication channels
More than just massage, these sessions are rituals of remembrance—a reweaving of your body’s sacred geography into one whole, flowing landscape of feminine vitality.
“when the deepest source of love in us is connected to the deepest source of fertility and creativity in us, womb wisdom comes to life. Many healing gifts begin to rise spontaneously into our awareness.”

FAQs
-
Ka Huna is flowing, rhythmic, and holistic. It uses long, sweeping strokes that move across the entire body (often under the body as well), supporting deep relaxation, energy flow, and integration. Many people describe it as meditative, nurturing, and unlike any other massage they've experienced.
-
Just bring yourself. It’s best to arrive well-hydrated and having eaten lightly beforehand. I’ll provide everything else — linen, water-based oil (that easily washes out of hair!), and a calm, welcoming space.
-
Ka Huna is traditionally done with minimal clothing to allow for long, sweeping movements. You will be professionally draped the entire time, and your comfort is the priority. We’ll always discuss what feels right for you before the session begins.
-
Ka Huna can be safely adapted for pregnancy after the first trimester. Please let me know if you're pregnant or trying to conceive, and we’ll tailor the session accordingly. Womb massage sessions are generally not offered during pregnancy unless specifically requested and discussed in advance.

Sometimes the act of receiving attuned touch can help you to release stored emotions or “holding patterns” that took root in the body after stressful experiences. Emotions are therefore a very natural and welcome part of receiving bodywork. If emotions or tears do arise, I’ll support you to stay grounded and present in your body. If you feel overwhelmed, I can help you to come back to a feeling of safety too. While this is not a space for therapy or analysis, it is a safe space to feel, breathe through the sensations, and be held with care. All of you is welcome.
-
While this work can be healing, I am not trained in talk therapy or trauma counselling. I do not offer birth debriefing or trauma processing through conversation. If these needs are present, I encourage you to work with a trained professional alongside bodywork.
